Thought id make a discussion thread for the sith edition that is releasing this fall. The pc edition is to come out late next week with the 360/PS3 versions to follow early nov. I played the original on ps3 when i rented it.

It was fun, quite a bit of fun. I was considering purchasing it a few months back but then heard of the sith edition and that it will release on pc, so i waited.

Now im wondering will this be an ati crippled game with the physics that are incorporated into this game? NFS shift suffers on ati when the physx could kick in and help. so im wondering if the same will happen here. If you have any news on this or something to say... go ahead

maybe it was just me but when i played nfs shift on my old hardware it wasnt crippled at all. I didnt understand why people were complaining that the game didnt play well on ati cards....i never had a problem.

No PhysX, so no. I also get great performance with Need for Speed Shift and my ATi card. I don't think NFS even uses PhysX.

NFS: Shift doesnt do Physx not to my knowledge at least:confused:

then again I also believed it runs a lot better on Ati hardware...

Excited to see both these come out, but also another ATI user here running only a dual core and at 1920x1200 maxed out and runs very nice.
