For all you space sim fans and anyone who owns Evochron Legends or Evochron Renegades...

Evochron Mercenary is now available! With a bigger universe, all-new graphics engine, enhanced physics, improved AI, and a diverse range of new gameplay options, Mercenary sets a new benchmark in the series.

Build an Empire
Join together with other players to form clans in multiplayer, then battle to control territory which provides financial reward for conquering and controlling systems. Defend your territory from other clans who can eliminate your control and take the systems for themselves. Construct stations in newly discovered systems to expand your empire and introduce new trade locations, AI pathways, and resources to expand the game's universe.

Battle to Survive
Exploit the new physics system to the upper limits of velocity in epic space battles featuring diverse control options, powerful new weapons, and new ship designs. Realistic HUD and cockpit displays are designed to provide situational awareness information for real-time tactical decision making in combat. Defeat your enemies with new technology (offensive and defensive) and command your allies with the new order system.

Explore New Frontiers
A lot has happened since the time period of Legends. More colonies have resulted in more cities to land at and stations to dock with. Newly found planets can vary in size from small to more than double in size and can be either terrain based or gas giants with swirling clouds and furious winds. Find hidden shipwrecks with valuable cargo still trapped inside. A revised maplog system lets you plot points of interest on the nav map, display their details by holding the mouse pointer over their icons, then easily plot a jump point to them with a right click.

Choose Your Role
Select how you want to start in the game when creating a profile, whether mercenary or fighter pilot, miner or racer. Direct your course through the game and choose where to go and what to do at virtually any time. Offer support to your allies by deploying sensor arrays to display ship locations for tactical support, shield arrays to protect, refueling/repairing stations for extended battles, or even mining probes to harvest needed resources.

As you can probably tell, Mercenary takes the Evochron concept in some exciting new directions. And as is the Evochron tradition, a free demo is available to insure system compatibility, performance, and to try out the game.

There is a limited time discount for anyone who is a current owner of Legends or Renegades.
