I'd like them to get rid of Greenlight. They are clearly not capable of managing it correctly, so rather than flood the market with gif animated store pages of games made by some scummy dev for a quick cash grab with a game made similarly to the App Store's Chinese apps, they should just remove it altogether.
Steam is now a festering pile of half baked indie games that are greenlighted based on the entire situation a user is in, if they can be bothered to judge a game based on its first 10 seconds of video. If they had a bad day, some good games go punished, if they have a good day, a tonne of bloody terrible NES style games get greenlighted. sometimes an Open platform just does not excel at these kinds of things.
I would rather have my anus tongued by an incontinent honey badger than touch Greenlight with a barge pole.
And what about game reviews? Half of the reviews are written by 12 year old journalism wanna-be's who play the game for less than an hour then take to the review page with "FIVE OUTTA FIVE STAR PRETTY GOOD GAEM", then get downvoted by the trolls and upvoted by the crazy zealots that stalk game store pages to fondle with the reviews.
Not to mention that butthole of a developer Daz, who's awful space game got negative reviews, and so devs are allowed to ban users entirely from the steam forums and remove negative reviews because they don't like being told their game sucks ass.
Then there's the top sellers becoming the default tab opened, and sometimes you look at the top sellers and wonder what is wrong with the gaming community. Not to mention the new rules of how Dev's can control the discounts on their own games in weird ways now, thus making the discounted games A BLOODY NIGHTMARE TO TRAVERSE.
It is literally impossible to find a new game to play on steam if that's what your intention is. We now have to rely on games journalism to let us know what decent games there are in the festering piles of amalgamated mush on the steam store, not to mention Kickstarter, when it's rife with things like lets make a goddamn canon that can shoot t-shirts into space. Yeah. Kickstarter bro, flawless victory.
It also saddens me to see the state of publishers on steam who still think that a meagre 5-10% discount on CoD games is comparable to other exceedingly awesome games on steam at half that discounted price. EA Activision should just be entirely banhammered from Steam because they are unscrupulous tools that don't understand the meaning of the word "Sale" or "Discount".

Yeah I mad.
Am I using this open thread correctly?
EDIT:
While we're on the topic of Greenlight and EarlyAccess, let's ban- neigh, let's sacrifice Peter Molyneux. Let's strap him to a pyre and burn him to cinders, and every other developer that severely overhyped their little indie games, claiming them to be the second coming of Christ. Only to be found to be a catastrophic failure.
What's that? You're telling me it's OK for an Early Access game to be monotonously bad because you stuck the Early Access label on it? Let's get rid of Early Access too. Too many hack developers promise great things and provide bland crapshoots of an alpha or beta that are horribly broken, some even to this day (DayZ trembles in the corner, soiling its pants as the 7 millionth serial killer hiker kills another hiker, and then a zombie clips through the wall and one-shots him by flailing erratically at the player's toe). The problem with Early Access is, by the time the ACTUAL full game gets released, no bugger plays the thing anymore because they burnt out after dozens of hours during the development and just got plain bored. Kinda like Rust.
Let's ban zombie games too, and survival games, because unless you're the developers of Amnesia or SOMA, you probably won't make a very good one.
