Hi my mate cannot get into Steam to play any of his games, steam was updating when he lost his internet connection for good, is there anywhere that i can download the steam updates so he can manually install them.

Benchmark Scores Faster than the tortoise; slower than the hare.
Steam is not for you if you don't have an active internet connection. He's going to have to bring the computer somewhere to let it finish updating everything and switch to offline mode before disconnecting again.

Steam is being no help. I need to log in to my account. I forgot everything but my e-mail address, that I used to set it up. The Steam app won't e-mail me because it replies, " account already excists for that e-mail." Well, duh, I knew that!
Steam support, on the other hand, can't find an account with that e-mail...

I need to get this squared away! But I can't find any real help!

I have used the Steam app.
I have tried the Steam site.
I have tried Steam support.

Aside from opening a bogus e-mail, to sign on to Support site, I am stuck!

Please help. Is there another way to contact Steam?

they are ridiculous when it comes to Account recovery. I HAVE my password, and My account ID, but MY GMail was hacked, and it WON'T let ME log into My account UNLESS it can send a verification to the OLD (hacked) EMail account. My suggestion is that You get the # from the Credit/Debit card that is linked to Your account, that is What Steam would likely tell You, create NEW Email, contact them with a new account, and Do a transfer, by giving them the Credit/Debit info. That was their suggestion to ME. Good luck.

Wow. Apparently, trying to get anything done on a Sunday morning, with Steam, is useless!

In the last hour, I have received a total of 5, count 'em 5, e-mails from them!!

The byproduct of all those e-mails? I have now logged into my Steam acct, as me, as I wanted to.

I have it, now, all saved in Lastpass, like I thought I did, so all is well in the little world of, "Me and my Steam Powered friends!!"
