Stock Bios needed for my Asus RX550 4GB card

You will need to provide pictures of the white stickers on the gpu, make sure they are clear to read and if you still have the box picture of the white sticker off that. @eidairaman1 may be to help when he gets time and all the proper info. You will need gpu-z screenshot too.

Meantime, I checked many "unverified" Bioses on this site, and I found one ( https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/198254/198254 ), what I though will be good for sure, because straps till 1375 were the same as in my modded Bios, and when I patched this (one click timing patch) with Polaris editor, I got exactly same straps what are in my modded Bios. Unfortunately, after I flashed it to my card (of course without patch) and reboot, there it is still showed with "exclamation mark" in device manager (windows stopped the device, code:43). What mean, I still need the "atikmdag-patcher" to use the card and that was what I wanted to avoid.

AMD AMDVBFlash is used to flash the graphics card BIOS. The version released by ATI was called ATIFlash or just WinFlash. It supports all AMD Radeo
Heres a slew that are for your card.
Well I'm a big dummy. I saw a couple videos on how "easy" it was to flash ex-mining cards so I went and bought 3 Asus RX550-4GB cards. They all have Hynix RAM but GPU-Z shows Micron. All worked fine as Microsoft Basic but go crazy when AMD drivers are installed, random blinking screens, checkerboard garbage, and eventually black screen crash.
I found this thread and the VBIOS links. It ALMOST worked... I flashed 198254.rom, rebooted, everything looked good, I ran Heaven Benchmark, ran perfect. Great, piece of cake! So I pulled out my fixed card, stuck in the next bad VBIOS RX550, it crashed with garbage on boot, becase it's still bad. OK, booted up the good card and disabled the driver, then rebooted with the bad card. Flashed the card with 198254.rom, rebooted, enabled the RX550 driver.... and.... SCREEN GARBAGE Crash! OK, rebooted the computer with my fixed RX550 that just ran fine a few minutes ago... and screen garbage crash! What!?
OK maybe somehow I corrupted the driver. Rebooted with oboard video, uninstalled the AMD driver, rebooted with the RX550 that worked once, tried installing AMD driver... installs WITHOUT detecting any RX550, still on MS Basic video. Tried the other flashed RX550, same thing. This is on Windows 8.1 BTW. Stuck it in Windows 10 and also does not find any RX550. Then I tried some more VBIOS files, 198699.rom, 215954.rom, same thing. Then I tried 197277.rom, this one gives me an error in AMDVBFlashWin "VBIOS Image Not Found". So then I force flashed it with command line. Bad idea, now one card is a brick!
So I can re-create my first success, with a lot of trial and reboots. I flash one card back to bad FW, this lets AMD driver detect the card. Then I need to disable the driver before it crashes and flash the card with 198254.rom, reboot, enable driver and bingo, seems to be working. But I have not had a chance to test any games, just ran Heaven again and fine.

Have you pulled the shrouds off all cards and physically inspected the vRam?
RAMs are SK Hynix H5GC8H24MJR
Just played Fortnite, the only game that was installed on this computer. Seems perfectly fine as long as I don't mess up the current driver. Then I'll have to do the whole install flash trick again I suppose.
I just don't understand why they are not detected right away with the donor VBIOS. I certainly can not sell them like this.
The device ID is exactly the same before and after flashing from bad VBIOS to donor VBIOS: 1002 699F - 1043 0513 . I assume this is the ID #'s that the drivers are looking for?

So all the drivers I was trying either installed but stayed Windows Basic or crashed while installing. Then I decided to try the oldest driver on AMD Previous driver site, Adrenalin 2019 Edition 19.10.2 Optional. It installs and sets up rx550 properly in devices. So at least I have one driver that works. This is with the 198254.rom. Games seem fine, the only thing is the fan speed is not registered, always shows 0%. In reality the fan is running quite fast, a bit loud. None of the other VBIOS roms work. Driver installs but device is disabled with errors.
If anyone out there has more VBIOS ROM dumps please post them. It would be nice to get a fully working compatible VBIOS.

ASUS - "In Search Of Incredible", is what it says on the fan sticker. In search of support is what I find myself doing on their website. Can't even find a contact email. Seriously, they want me to install a support app!!?? What a BS crap show!!

If you have ASUS RX 550-4G with Hynix H5GC8H24MJR memory chips on it, the BIOS you flashed (198254.rom) is the right one for you.
