Hey guys, its almost Christmas so i thought if i get money for Christmas+Bday(right after christmas), what upgrades should i make to my current system, budget will probly be 50-100$. Sticking with MOBO and case, everything else i would be willing to upgrade. specs are:
Intel Core i5 3570
Zotac GTX460 Synergy Edition
160gb WD Black HDD
750W PSU
8Gb Hynix DDR3 1333Mhz
22" Dell 1680X1050 monitor

Probably a ssd is the best option, or maybe a better vga or doubling up the memory to 16 gb.

No, the mSATA port just connects to your SATA bus (with a few bells and whistles.) m.2 and an NVMe drive will post a 2-3x increase via PCIe, but your board doesn't support it without an add-on card.

Nice board, I used to have the same one with a delided 3570k

I'd start saving your money, that system could use an overhaul in the next couple years, and making the jump into DDR4 is expensive. if you MUST buy something immediately, go Samsung 860Evo theyre $72

Well, yes. Its using one of your sata ports. Check your board manuals for which one. Basically everything faster now than a 160gb hdd. If you use msata, you got the same speed than a normal sata just get rid of 2 cables.

Any ideas for my laptops?
Depends on what are your usage, but for the dell is the same, ssd first, then stronger cpu if avaiable/ get one at right price.
