I have moved to my new apartment and I really am tired of using a flimsy fold-up plastic picnic table to hold all of my computer stuff.

I really prefer L-shaped computer desks, I guess you can call them corner desks. I would like it to be sturdy and able to hold a pretty hefty PC plus three 27" or larger monitors.

It does not have to be an L-shaped desk, but I really like those.

Also, I am looking to spend under 400 USD.

If you look on google images, type in FedEx furniture boxes

A person started out making a desk for his PC from shipping boxes. When he finished, he did the entire apartment that way. Fedex, UPS and USPS often have boxes for free. Just the cost of shipping tape or short deck screws is all you need ...
