Sujet : Température Core i7 3770 - 80° - 94° ( Help )

Hi Guys i want to ask some questions
__ i have a intel core 3770 during installation Température bypass 90°C in 100% load of the CPU

and during gaming the Température bypass 80° C on the CPU and some games can go to 94°C

1 - is that normal ???
2- is there anyrisk for the cpu?.
3-is there a problem on the cpu or the fan(MARS Gaming MCPU1 ) is not good ?? or the setup of the fan?

It is with a heatsink like that - your bound to thermal throttle.

Not anything significant, but lifespan is affected - performance is the main problem here

The cpu isn't the problem - I recommend a hyper evo 212 or another large cooler that will be compatible with the case and will handle the load, and get arctic mx-4 for the cpu since stock thermal paste isn't good.

Thermals are high - it's not the case restricting airflow, which leads me to believe there is no fan running exhaust pulling hot air out or it's the processor heatsink not dissipating enough heat - there's no way that cooler is any good.

Would not be Surprised if a Stock cooler was Better than that one
You need to sell it on and replace it with something like evo212 or Arctic Freezer 13

*If* you find that your system is going above 80°c you could always try to disable hyperthreading...
If you're at 80°c or lower don't worry about it.

It's common, just as common as people sticking stock coolers. It's also as common as users buying a pre-built over a self built one.

If you mean the CPU running at 1.0GHz it was just a JOKE, i was just serious about that the Cooler you own it is not good.

The cooler is terrible, the only "good" low profile coolers like that one are the noctua's - forget them in a case that big - use a big cooler. Coolers like that are designed for small itx pcs.

Oh my. Thats a cheap ass cooler. They haven even brothered to inform on what tdp its rated at on there homepage. It just rated as n/a. Use less.

Your cpu is rated at 77 watt tdp. With means you need a cooler rated at least for that and its no bad idea to get one rated to higher tdp for more silent opperation.
