I had one that fried when I gave the system power after a build. I had to RMA it and the build was delayed for the customer.:shadedshu

I seem to have alot of bad experiences with Sunbeam stuff.

Now the best fan controller I ever had the pleasure of working with was a Scythe KM02-BK Fan Controller.

This one have the led's at 7v as well?

yeah they are but this one is worst because the entire knobs are lit up. on the 20 watt Sunbeam Rheobus model only a small blinker is lit up.

thats unfortunate but believe me aside from the LED'S running at 7v this is one of the best fan controllers I would take this over anything but a Aqua Multiswitch

Choice between this and the regular 20w per channel one, what do you think? 29.99 vs the 14.99 Regular? I don't expect a rebate back from them, never had good luck with rebates from them.

like I said you can go to Performance-PC and get the Sunbeam Rheobus 20 watt model which is $12.95 and for extra $15 they will install LED's of your choice since this controller can handle 15-30 fans I don't think the Extreme model is necessary.

It's 16.95 at Performance PC, I'll order one at some point soon, I can't justify those led's on the extreme.

weird was $12.95 the other day I know it hurts just looking at the pictures try living with it every day. Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme is a great deal if you can solder, tantric put some nice amber LED in his.

remember those Yate Loon High Speed Fans? they have a input of 0.30 Amps so you take 0.30 Amps and multiply it by 12 volts that gives you 3.6 Watts for 1 Yate Loon High Speed Fan now since we know the Sunbeam Rheobus 20 Watt Model has 20 Watts per channel we do 20 Watts divided by 3.6 Watts = 5 so you can run 5 Yate Loon High Speed Fans on each of the 4 channels for a total of 20 Yate Loon High Speed Fans. the Sunbeam Rheobus Extreme has 30 Watts per channel and can run a total of 48 Yate Loon High Speed Fans.
