This solution requires the 12.1 preview drivers found here.
Catalyst 12.1 Preview
You must uninstall any previous drivers, and application profiles before installing the 12.1 preview drivers!!!
If you fail to uninstall any previous drivers/CAPs you very well may run into stability problems.
After uninstalling your old 11.x (or older) drivers and any CAP updates, restart your computer and install the 12.1 preview drivers, then restart your computer again.
Most of you are probably already aware that the 12.1 drivers allow you to setup custom profiles for each installed game, you must do this for SW:TOR. Make sure you are directing Catalyst to the swtor.exe in the "retail client" folder in the game's directory, and not to the launcher/patcher.
Set the Crossfire option to "Optimized 1x1".
Launch SW:TOR and enjoy...
You may need to disable full-screen support (switch it from Full-screen to Windowed), and the switch it back again to make the Crossfire kick in. That seems to go for most options in SW:TORs graphic options, they don't always seem to lock in, until you change them, then change them back.
Once I get home I will try to get some screen caps of the process for the less able, if needed.
