Switched cases and now nothing displays [solved] missing standoffs genius

Found you on Google search on my smart phone :)

Decided to switch out my very old case for a newer old case this morning. I hooked everything back up perfectly. Except the only issue is I totally accidentally broke the old power button. I did this by not being as careful with my own mechanics as if someone else's. I didn't realize I was pulling up too hard on the psu cable and by doing that snagged the power button cable breaking off the little connector to the cable. The new case power button cable is not compatible.

My motherboard is ASUS E45M1-l Deluxe mini-ITX.

I jumped the motherboard by touching the 2 red pins on the power button port. Everything seems to power on fine Except I get no display on the monitor.

Everything plugged in; psu- both 4 pin cable and the larger cable, data cable, fan, plugged in monitor and psu to the wall.

Again it's on but no display. It's a nice small motherboard I carefully set it in the case and tightened it in. Nothing brass touching, RAM hasn't moved a smidgen, integrated cmos battery I believe.

Apologize for no helpful links. Difficult on my phone. Usually would be more descriptive. Please help! Tons of homework to do!
Thx

Try removing everything except ram, mono and processor and see if you get anything. Wouldn't hurt to reseat everything either, just in case

I just finished doing that. I even took out out RAM. I cannot get my fingers to grip on the cmos the way it's set under the heat sink which is integrated. I need prongs to remove it I think which I do not have with me.

Plugged everything in no display... Shouldn't I be able to at least see the BIOS?

Are you getting a single beep when booting?

Did you press your monitor power button to turn it on?

Do you have the monitor cable plugged into the right connector (on board vs graphics card)

I wish that was all it was but I've been staring at every single wire all day and I'm baffled. I just tried one stick of RAM at a time and removing my SSD. Plugging each component in all orders one at a time. No dice. It was working fine in my old case. Which of course I broke the connector and cannot switch back now.

The monitor is plugged in correctly. Unfortunately it's not this simple. I'm thinking POSSIBLY one of 3 issues. 1) this motherboard must have a power connector attached to function properly I hope it's that simple. 2) a wire somewhere went bad from moving one case to another. I was very careful, except for the small mishap I took necessary precautions not to touch components with anything static or magnetic. 3) the integrated gpu became damaged on move. :(

Does it boot up fully?
Are you getting any beeps while booting?
Does it have a led boot display?
Its probably something very simple like a cable in the wrong place.

Did you use standoffs?
Did you install the correct amount and in the correct positions?

Try booting the system up outside the case, on a non-conductive surface.. And see if it works.

@ Asylum it does not boot nada. Only black screen. Turn off turn on. Blank.
All the lights on the motherboard turn on when power initiates. There's a small red light by a black switch at the top by a DEBUGPORT.
The green light labeled PWR is the same lights up fine.
Same with SSD lights up fine.
The cables are too simple to mistake. I've looked at them dozens of times. Racking my brain to determine if I'm missing a cable.
No beeps @#&*!?

I'm not sure what standoff is sorry can't search quickly I know that's basic but I forget. Everything is connected correctly yes and mounted correctly. I think standoffs are those those little round sockets the screws go against the motherboard? The face plate won't line up if I do that. I'll try it out of the case now.

Thanks for all the replies. Keeping my hope alive.

OK so I had everything booted up perfectly right? So I unplugged the monitor and power plug and went over and attached the fan, closed the case, plugged in keyboard, mouse, turned it on and I get this >>

I googled it and to the best of my ability I found that when a laptop monitor goes bad it looks like this. Can any one drop a hint, am I really going to have to take out the RAM and all that again. O g..gg..godddd

edit:

Omg I just opened it up on my phone and the image is perfect ok will take a second to upload a snapshot from my phone.

Finally, report fix:

Fried DVI monitor cable was the issue. PC back up and running. Back to school! Was on vacation for 2 weeks. When I got back I tried purchasing a new cable. That fixed the red screen solution.
