I installed Win 7 from scratch in a diff HDD and still, memory amount is 3.92GB. I opened up reasource monitor and found that 82 MB RAM is hardwarw reserved. So I found out why I have 82 MB less RAM. What device may share that? I don't have any addon card other than a GPU.

thats it! i too have the same thing around 30mb missing. but since its 30mb compared to 8Gb it doesnt show up.

i did notice it when running one stick of ram once.
