ttt for a great guy!
I used to take Broadcasting classes where they forced us to use Macs.
I was not fond of the Crappy G5's they had.
they almost always crashed running Final Cut Pro.
I offered to donate a Render farm running Cinellera. but they declined.
Thanks for the info ... I doubt I will be updating anything on it because I will mainly just use it for surfing the web and typing reports. I think that C2D should be fast enough to do that, right? It wont bog down during anything like that (surfing web and typing reports with multiple pages open) ... will it? Been awhile since my C2D days lol
Just curious ... does photoshop and lightroom (my google button is broken lol ) have its own special mac version or will it work on that mac?
If they do not have a mac installer on the disc then you'll need to purchase new ones. OS X is pretty speedy with the C2D so I think you'll be very happy...especially with a 24" Imac
Yes, you can buy separate versions of Photoshop for Mac or PC, but there are other lesser programs that include both versions on one disc.
I might be able to offer you a lower price on the unit if you opt out of the aluminum keyboard. I've gotten some people that were only interested in that item by itself, so I might be able to sell it separately. if you have any more questions about it, let me know - I'll do my best to answer them.
mid day bump
Updated the list: Sold the 120GB IDE laptop drive, added more ram and a bigger HDD to the Dell and can include Office if necessary, dropped the HDD size in the Acer and dropped the price. Added some more detail to the Ally android phone, too.
ttt for new stuff
