can we have a source on those stats?

you know what mozilla & google should do... gather OS & browser statistics, google in particular would be most accurate, facebook might work too

i dont get why are people acting so entitled to the ridiculously generous deal that MSTN gave, MS isnt a charity

also, there's no need for conspiracy theories, if MS is struggling or even failing in multiple areas of income (surface, 8, xboxone let's say), they can simply look at cost cutting measures, MSTN is one of them, we'll probably see some others (how about the msn client being shut)

OR even if they're doing ok, all those xboxone cloud servers must cost a lot... what if they even reallocate existing servers to there, shutting down MSTN could fit that idea

So MS is struggling? That's not the customer's problem is it? It just shows that the company isn't delivering products that benefit their customers. Give us better products and they'll start doing better. Making all these cutbacks on what they offer customers, making their products ever less attractive in a bid to boost profits are simply the sign of a company in a potential death spiral. No company is too big to fail.
