The site wouldn't load for a while 20 minutes ago or so:
Fatal Error: Undefined offset: 1 in News.php:197
Correct. Due to a coding bug, the frontpage couldn't load for around half an hour. It's fixed now.
Background: our review database categories use a path-style format, i.e. /Networking/Netgear.
For today's router review I entered just "Routers" by accident, so the category didn't have any "/" separator.
The code on line 197 was looking for the text after the first "/". "Networking" in the "/Networking/Netgear" example above.
What I entered didn't have any separators, so code tried to access data that doesn't exist, which caused an error to be thrown. Added a check for the number of tokens in the category, with proper handling, something I forgot to add back in the day
Server US5, 2% load, wants to take 40 minutes to download new Nvidia driver.
Problem?
Why go through that rigmorole when they are front & center here on TPU? The people at NVidia who decided that the DCH versions should be a priority are nitwits.
US-5 is designated as my primary, but is brutally slow. Every other server is faster. I'm just trying to DL the nvidia and intel drivers.
This should be resolved now. Can anyone confirm? I'm seeing around 100 Mb to Germany
