Hi guys,

For All that is holy please tell me Why our Kids Xbox ONE takes up or if not most of our bandwidth? I know at one point they were downloading a update to a game but still after that it'll push it to where we can't watch youtube or it takes a bit longer to load sites. Bare in mind our connection is only 8.5MB Down and 1.5MB UP and yes by All means that's slow but we're out in the country side of AL, Summerdale. I have to turn-off there Xbox when they go to school to Download files which when there Xbox is on I DL@ 40kb where now i can DL@840KB

You need to do some QoS. Look for such options on your router. If not there you need to upgrade. Make the xbox have lower B/W allocations. Most do it as either a fraction, a DSCP tag where you put numbers to priority, or an actual transfer rate.

And it works! Thanks guys. Now I can Enjoy watching youtube again without any buffing when the Xbox always updating... :kookoo::wtf: simply had to custom a QoS with title "Xbox"

Yay! Glad it worked.

Glad to hear that you fixed the problem, but 8.5MB is not that bad in country side. 8.5MB/s is 68Mb/s. Or did mean 8.5Mb/s?

Well take in note, that at the time you were doing speedtest in browser, you have other devices connected to network. Which can easily use 1-2Mb/s. Hard core life with up to 8.5Mb/s. How about 3G or even 4G at your place?

Latency as well is big :|

Do you have ADSL connection?

Ha yes it's a ADSL but they plan on getting cable in our location soon but the cost$$$ and we're just going to stay where we are at for the time being. He are trying to buy this house so. Our family isn't rich and taking care of me as well. Remember i was in a car accident 3 years ago and was in a coma for 3 months so yeah

Well, you can talk with your provider if there is a chance for installating a PtP radio link. Second option is to install 4G router with outside antenas or even mikrotik lhg lte. In our country I did install/setup Mikrotik LHG lte 18dB antena for customer. Closest tower is 10km away and signal is going through trees. Download and upload is around 12Mb/s and latency 13s :).
