I remember when I first came here, I read something about unlocking pipelines in video cards, and I wondered if I could with my FX5200 Ultra. That wasn't possible, but I did wind up overclocking it via Coolbits. Good times.

I remember my TNT2 was ancient by then, but drivers were still called detonator ... fx was not much compared to 4000 series, then ati killed with 9700 and started dx9 era :laugh:

Nice one @T4C Fantasy Did you use the Wayback Machine for this? Might be nice to add a screenshot of the current TPU front page to complete the series, as it's subtly different now with NextPowerUp gone.

I do remember the site looking like that in 2004.

I didn't like the original old fashioned logo though, the current one being much better.

Yeah every day he has listed was a day that wayback machine took a screenshot of the website.

I used to go through the Internet archive and check out old sites just for nostalgia reasons

I remember coming here and having hell of hardware. Now I'm down to a old laptop, and a smart phone......never would of believed it, and spent so much time here. Took trips met up with people. Lan parties, and I'd like to say some or my favorite memories were made on this site. Now visit here, and there just to see what's going on on the tech world

TPU seemed to be one of the first. I've seen a lot of rip-offs that look almost identical to TPU's logo/font.
