Temperatures of intel core extreme qx9650

that's about normal if the voltage are at 1.40 + let me see what my temps are at 3.6.

my voltage is only 1.272v after droop and my heat just keeps going up 10mins into prime 95 at 63c now

That's a pretty big improvement... I would slap your friend :)

Those temps should drop a little bit more as the paste heats and cools and sets properly.
Let it warm up real good and cool back down to ambient temps a few times.

it looks good now but the temps arent doing anything else but going up isnt that bad will it drop once the paste settles?

it looks good now but the temps arent doing anything else but going up isnt that bad will it drop once the paste settles?

Yes the temps normally drop 1-5c depending over the first week or two...

I blow through that time by running them up for 20-30 minutes and then shutting it down for a few hours, helps make it settle much faster.

ok ill look into something like that watercooling is too confusing and i dont think theres any kits i can go buy like thermaltake one that will actually be good

What program are you using for your temps Boogah?
CPU-Z and RealTemp report very differently on a lot of chips.

But ya I have heard many people say the thermaltake water kits suck :(

And that's not too bad, considering you will NEVER get those temps running games...

Realistically you should be okay, but ya you need a better cooler, see about selling your water kit to someone and pickup a decent air cooler, you should be able to run 3.6-3.8 on air without trouble, some even break 4 on air.

ok i guess ill get that after my wedding then thx alot guys ill continue to run my processor at 3.6ghz till i get that other watercooler after 40 mins under load my processor temps are steady here
