Hello!.
Im a little disapointed owner of a cryorig h5.
I was reading this review:
https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CRYORIG/H5_Universal/7.html
and the fan curve pwm/rpm is not like mine! I dont know why.
I mean, according to the review...
PWM
25% 756
50% 1001
100% 1377

I dont know if it really means the pwm % or only the %fan speed.
But anyways, 25% os speed 756rpm when the fan specs says 700rpm min? :S how its possible.

And then, here is my fan curve.

So... whats wrong with my fan?!

:S

Thank you.

Nothing is wrong with your fan.

The page you linked is the first part of the review that is measuring noise levels when the fan(s)s are at 25%,50% and 100% of its rated speed. Yes it appears to be a confusing read, I've had to read that page several times to try to understand what the reviewer was actually saying vs. the implications.

The second part, the reviewer is using the software that came with it, idk what it is, and is test the PWM voltage range. The PWM% controls the fan speed through voltage, not by the actual the actual RPM speed of the fan. A PWM at 0% usually mean the fan speed is at 0 RPM. This can be confusing to many.

Some add-on/external controllers might use a different range of values like PWM at 0% could mean a minimum voltage of around 7 volts, 100% could be 12 volts. Not all controllers are the same and dont confuse them with how motherboards uses PWM.

Different software means different readings of speed and voltage, but all usually close enough to not matter. A lot of OC'ers use them all to compare everything they can.

BTW. What software is that image from?
