So, warranty resulted in an upgrade

It's only single colour RGB and not ARGB, but its synced to razer (as are the PCI-E power cables) so i can do some fun lighting stuff

Kinda by accident here , planned to get 6800xt but 2020 happened and i wound up with Palit 3070 oc and i can not say bad word about it . Playing Cyberpunk on 1440p no worries so cheers.

3080 AIO sprung a leak, and they only had 3090s in stock so i got sale prices on what they had left
Forgive image quality, my pixel 4XL battery died and i'm on a spare until the warranty arrives (they dont ship weekends or public holidays here, so.... fook)

horizontals worked out, seeing 60C load in most games

In the future, i'll get a case with triple slot vertical mount support and show off the bling
(The RGB lighting cables genuinely look better in horizontal mount too, and they're individually controlled for fancy lighting)

Got a BIOS update from galax support for the 3090, as a response to a problem with the fan speed at idle. uploaded to TPU, will wait and see if it helps or not

Got it for a good price too - INR 35,900($491) including shipping and handling and taxes.
That's very cheap here in India, cheaper even than the AMD RX 5700XT!

You are right, KFA2 is the ITA/EU brand name for Galax.
Card assembly is pretty solid and it's very quiet under load. ATM I'm playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and Need for Speed Heat, both over 70-100fps @Ultra setting (3440x1440 34" freesync monitor).

I've used and sold a few galax cards lately

They cheap out in a few ways (RGB and not ARGB for example - and they seem to have just the one cooler design)
but they're cheaper than the competition, quiet, and not too ugly (a 3090 air cooled will NEVER be silent... but its faaaaaaar better than the 1070ti i just upgraded from)

How do you like Heat? I just bought NFS: 2015 over Steam and I don't really like it that much.
I've heard Payback is worse, but Heat is actually decent.

Just got mine in, installed it then had to do stuff all day. It's so damn big. I ordered a bykski block and a 12pin adapter, so now gotta rough it on water for a while. Hopefully I'll get some more time to play with it this weekend.

Oh yea, I will. Frankly speaking it was really strange when I was researching blocks. There are only 4 blocks available, and one brand has a bad history of leaks so that one's off the list. That just leaves Aqua, BP and Blykski. The Aqua and BP is out of stock everywhere. The supposed EK beauty... well looks like EK is not making it, just threw away the whole idea lol. And then on top of that, I was hoping to find other users who posted their experiences or results and I could not find one. I hopoe I just goofed the search parameters but man I could not find any. When I get mine on I'll def share what I learn.

I finally joined that exclusive club, I was initially going for the humble 3060Ti, but finding the 3070 at MSRP (519€) was a much better deal than all the overpriced aftermarket 3060Ti. LDLC (french retailer) doesn't list the FE on their website, you can only access them with a specific link, they stayed in stock for a good 10min. Once it's done the link will just show you a 404 page.
