Am I the only one that actually likes hearing the fan on my graphics card kick up to full speed? I love sitting at my desk reading/typing things on the internet and hearing the fan jump from 75% to 100% and go from completely silent to sounding like a fan should sound.*
I love the fan on my GTX260 and most graphics cards because it sounds so destinctive when at full speed, I can hear it over every other fan in my system. But it seems that I am stuck in a world where everyone wants quiet. I'm just not that way, I think a computer should sound like a computer. Maybe it is from my years of working in server rooms where the computers are so loud you have to yell to be heard. I don't know...
*It only does this because I fold on it which puts it under load even when I am just browsing the interent. I also have it set to that if it goes over 65°C the fan goes to 100% because I like cool graphics cards, and obviously don't care about noise.
