I'm in the process of setting up a build and I just want a few second or third opinions on a mid-range motherboard. My current setup has this board in mind:

And this is the one I'm thinking about switching to.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813130161

Would that be a better choice? Am i missing anything? My system will have a Core 2 Quad Q9550, BFG 280 GTX, Gskill 2x2 gb DDR 2 1100.
IMO i think the first it's better, because the second isn't for intel cpu.;)

I'd personally stick with Asus; I've always had good luck with them.

Alright, so seeming the overwhelming sensus is towards the PQ. How's its onboard audio since I don't plan on getting a sound card for a little bit just yet.

onboard (P5Q-pro) sound is the best I've heard from an integrated, ever. That being said, good luck running the ram at those speeds, as a lot of P45 boards have issues with high speed ram

I don't really buy into the SLI thing too much. My friends have had nothing but issues with it sense they've done it and the performance gains seem to be barely worth the effort in my opinion though it has crossed my mind on occasion. Will the mobo have that big of an issue with the ram?

I prefer intel chipsets they heat less than nforce.about onboard sound chip (Realtek ALC1200) i don't know if work fine.i have a Realtek ALC888 chip in my giabyte p35-ds4 and I'm glad

IMO go to P5Q PRO good ram and OC result.
