The Best New Game

I was looking at Black and White 2 and the graphics didnt seem that great. I was a little dissappointed.

I was thinking, why so many people think that cs1.6 is the best game ever...My guess is that their coputers cant run anything else

A good game dosnt have to run crazy graphics to be a good game it just has to have good structure,good story, and play level that suites the player, and is fun to him or her. And if you are still running that 9550 then i'm sure there is alot you cant run very well either.

I played CSS on my 9550 all the time, it ran perfectly. My uncle's comp is a 1.3 ghz athlon and a Geforce 2 MX (nothing overclocked at all), and he plays at low settings and it runs perfect and still looks much better than cs 1.6

Gaming leagues, and people who refuse to move on are just afraid of a new platform. Its easier to aim now that things have shape and smooth animations, not blocks that jerk around.

I do agree however that most new games focus way too much on the graphics, on commercials for Doom 3 for xbox, they had a little caption "in-game footage" This pissed me off. Lately other commercials for games have been doing the same thing, and when the shitfest that is the Xbox360 comes out, I bet every commercial has footage that has a "in-game" caption. Xbox's hardware is powerful enough already to realize any gaming concept, maybe not with high definition textures and antialising, but still great games. Graphics dont make a game.

Hahaha good one wazzledoodle.
Anyways, CS is just really fun.
But dont get me wrong it isnt the best game out there. There are a lot of games that are just as good if not better.
But it does keep me entertained as well as many others.

The other up side on CS is that unlike most new online games now like WOW, you dont have to pay a monthly fee which is another important aspect.

Lol sorry I didnt mean to knock peoples 9550 's hehe My back up card and long time friend was a 9600 xt till a few months ago. I just didnt like the coment that people dont have the setup's to run anything else.cash is hard to come by for some people, I still play rainbow 6 raven shield/athena sword and just like the play in the game. But I still could even play thing's decent with my old pentium 3.

Well, i had this Celeron 1.3, 128 mb of ram and a 8mb Trident3d(integr.) :rockout:

I was a hardcore cs player. When i moved to my new comp. CS1.6 just wasnt fun at all, I now play BF2 and F.E.A.R wich in my oppinion are the best games out there. But i do play cs, occasionaly, like when we are having lan-parties, we just play a few games for the old times sake :rolleyes:

FEAR was a very good game. Just completed it. Nice story although you'd have to play it twice to fully grasp some finer detail which ultimately makes the story plausable. But even though the enemies are similar, they're still fun to kill though!

Getting Quake4 in a day or two, will be commenting on that as soon as I get it.

zAAm, dont bother with that q4, finished it, the storyline was like one of those bacground action movies, crap, but the levels were quite freaky, not scary but freaky.

The Red Orchestra mod for UT2004. Great levels and having to use iron sites to aim adds a whole new feel to FPS.

Quake4 was a pretty good game! It ran better than Doom3 which immediately improved the gameplay. Also, it's actually a very long game! And I love the strogg sequence.

CoD2 rocks, no more one-man army, this game has made rushing impossible, at least with the average difficulty
