To be honest I have a 3 going on 4 year old and Disney + is very compelling for someone of that age. I found myself thoroughly enjoying 101 Dalmations yesterday. They need an Epic fantasy series. Once Prime launches The Dragon Reborn and Numenor Netflix may lose even more relevance in my Space but they do have some good content. It's just that there is too much.
Hulu & peacock for me have totally replaced netflix. i have had netflix since you still got DVD's in the mail, & i cancelled it about 2 months ago. The only thing netflix had on the others was some selection & no ad's, but now the two i posted above have ad free options, & now netflix selection seems to be leaning in a specific direction that just lacks content i find worth while. im not saying its for noone, but its not for me. my daughter liked it for some anime cartoon stuff, but im not a 12 year old girl. i thin my wife kept her plan for our daughter, but between all the options out there, we viewers can pick & choose thankfully

Well this thread inspired me to get into some Division 2 earlier this morning. I did 2 control points and then hit a Stronghold (WOW!) I haven't layed the Game in a few months and forgot that you need to unlock safehouses to get all control points in a given area. I swear this Game is one serious adrenal pump. If they can put that feeling into a show then maybe it might have a chance.

This is the worst news for DIvision players. Netflix has yet to make a single good tv show. They can destroy anything from The WItcher to Star Trek - their best shows like Gambit are just so-so at best. When this show is made, it will be a shame to admit being a Division player

they had some good shows, but they went full PC or something a while back, to an 'impossible for most entertainment' degree.
black mirror was decent, then it did a 180 & became mainstream garbage. im having a hard time thinking of other examples, but thats the point.

if i had to guess, i would say they are trying to include diversity, for the sake of diversity.
as an example, i was looking for horror movies to watch one night, & it was an ocean of these odd indian/asian films, which are heavily built off culture, & regional beliefs, which unless youre of that culture, are often not scary, or exciting or interesting to any degree (atleast in my opinion). theyre mostly campy, weird comedy/laugh/shock films, which is decidedly not horror, except maybe to a target audience.

in my opinion, horror for the most part has died, this generation seems incapable of writing an original horror movie that doesnt include some ridiculous premise for the main characters to carry a camcorder all the film, or some equally dumb cliché' junk about ghosts, or haunting of 'insert location'.

you cant have an agenda, while trying to entertain, without giving up the latter for the former at some point in the making of the show/film.
