I think 5.1 DD etc is only available via the optical output.

It was great. Then you get to see it again after wards. One hell of a fun time! But, he was a pain to play with.. At lease for me the first time around.

TBH, I kicked his big ass first go (once I figured out about the spikes on the wall

) I found Hades 10 times worse

My mom got mad when she found out that I'm killing all the Gods and Hercules. Were Greek so she took it to offense, she almost made me return the game. :eek:

Hades was a pain, but wasn't as bad as Herc. I had more problems due to the fact I kept on just killing the monsters, to get more red orbs. :roll:

Once I stopped doing that, It was fine.

Ad... I can see where a parent would be mad. All ways have to have "lines"

LOL.........I can sort of see why she would be offended, because GoW does really twist Greek Mythology and make it 'darker' then what it is

Did you guys get any technical problems during the 'Cronos' battle? My audio was skipping/repeating like crazy and the game froze and crashed twice :eek:

I hope I dont have a dodgy disc or even worse my laser is on its way out (my console isnt very old at all)

I just about had to tape frozen peas to my fingers to stop them from ceasing up on me after playing the game. :laugh:

I hope thats a bad joke, most Greeks are Orthodox Christians and by that i mean its only mythology not actually a religion anymore so i dont see why anyone would take offense.

Brilliant game, bit same-ish at times but pretty good overall. I think some people took it to far though calling it best game ever :laugh:

Because although it is mythology its our history. My mom takes it even further by saying she believes that maybe Greek Mythology isn't so much mythology as we take it to be, she feels theirs some truth to it. We've talked about it...

Thats the beauty of GoW (well any GOOD Hack 'n' Slash).........simplistic chaos!

The God Of War franchise is good because it doesnt change the format and try to be something its not.

Maybe 'best game ever' is a bit much.....but possible 'game of the year', yes. So far it has to be either this or Uncharted 2.

Im far more impressed with GoW3 then I am with FFXIII

I think Greek Mythology is just like the Bible. A collection of fictional stories that have been passed down through the generations and end up being classed as facts to some. Obviously, some of these stories have an element of truth to them.

I finished it a bit after I threw out the message. Didn't know how close I was. Yeah, the last scene, before the credits, make it off to seem that there is going to be something. But, the developers said this is it on the Game. But,

with how the world is left, after kratos does what he does. They can now do one of him trying to "clean" up the mess that has came over the world.
