Surface mounted capacitors are far better than through hole capacitors, however if I owned this motherboard I would mod the capacitors to 3m ohms capacitors. Personally I don't care about warranty, that was shown when I modded a brand new Vega Nano card.

Nah, NC17 just means that genitalia is shown, or sometimes excessive violence. “Hardcore”/porn is generally not reviewed by the MPAA for theatrical release.

Looking at the shape, capacitance (looks like 470u) and markings (first letter looks like "g" and last letter looks like "F"). I'd guess they're Panasonic 4TPF470ML. At 10mR ESR I think it's already good enough. It would be hard to get markedly lower ESR while retaining the capacity and voltage rating. They're certainly brave to use a tantalum for buck converter output bulk tho...

On another note, how all of these style of caps only rated at 2000@105?

Copper might conduct heat better but aluminium's dissipation is better also copper needs some form of lacquer to prevent it from going green which I'm sure would hinder dissipation also

As far as the board though it looks kickass I might get one in 5 years when it's cheap. :laugh:

I'm guessing the fin stacks are aluminium and the heat pipes are nickel plated copper, scratch one please @W1zzard and tell us.

You can get 3 mohms from Panasonic. I buy batches & bin them here for even better result.
