Thinking in my case it might be worse of due to the cord to my mouse being braided. And all it takes is a cable clip stuck to the wall anways which is not $20 lol...

a mouse bungee is a cord weight. the spring raises and lowers the cord as you move the mouse.

Back in ‘96, when Quake and rocket jumping were synonymous with skilled gaming,
The product was so well-loved by Razer that when its inventor Ed Larkin expressed interest in joining the team back in 2010, it was the perfect opportunity to bring him into the fold. Now Ed is part of Razer’s innovation team that forges new paths and progresses technological advancements for the betterment of gaming.
So wait... 15 year old ideas are now "innovation"?

you're welcome.

the idea is to reduce cable drag and mimic a wireless sensation by weighing the cord down. I own 2 original mouse bungee's.

As long as it's not above say $15, it's worth the buy. It's way better than those table-edge clips. :p

Yes on the edge of the table would fail, you need the height so use the wall.

Played all the time back then and I never heard of this device. Course I wouldn't have cared much cause back then I only gamed via keyboard. True old skool way of Doom and Marathon. Worked till after UT, then all the new games found ways to code out keyboard only use.

You know if there were wireless mice that didn't require batteries I would be with you. I already hate replacing batteries in the devices I have now as it is.

I might have to get one of these bungies, even my G9's cord seems to catch on stuff on my desk all of the time.

Seriously?:wtf: I haven't found a single wireless mouse yet that actually doesn't have wireless lag, signal disruptions or plain old crap batteries.

Wireless mice still aren't ready for high-end usage, years and years after the first cheap wireless desktop sets came out. And if Razer would use the effort required to remarket a 15 year old product to attempt making a decent wireless mouse, it will still suck.

I used to use a little stand for hanging bananas - like this

It was a little lacking in stability and flexibility, but it basically served to keep most of the mouse cord immobile. :D
