What do you mean by transfer?
When the usb stick is ready by Microsoft’s tool with the correct bootable format, you set it as first boot device in bios and it starts the installation... It’s pretty straight forward.

Edit:
And I’ve used DDU many times without problems. Better to use with safe mode...

Media Creation Tool should take care of it. If there are problems...the USB stick might be bad.

Make sure to UEFI boot into the USB stick (not legacy).

just download the Windows media creation from the Microsoft website, it downloads Win 10 to a flash drive and thats it, pick the USB option. I once had a bad USB flash drive that wouldnt install Win 10.

you either use a tool like the windows media creation or RUFUS to create a bootable ISO, or for a repair install double click the ISO and run setup.exe for an ugprade install (works great, highly recommend it as a cleanup/repair tool)

On my Ryzen build I am using the Windows 10 ftom my FX build. No issues, previously the PC had R7 260x and FX8300 and currently Ryzen 1600x and 1050TI.

With QDC's I just swapped a VII out for my ole TXP, without issue. Regarding drivers, I did nothing but use AMD's uninstaller from apps within w10. In the last year or so I've even stopped using DDU. There's no need for it anymore especially the annoyance of rebooting to safe mode for DDU.
