The new not yet released nvidia graphic cards

So i had a new game with my new cpu and fairly new gpu not running so fast as i want to and i won't lower graphic settings since they are already at the lowest setting i would use (mabye not the absolutely lowest but close enough to my limited).

I haven't seen anything news in the last few weeks about the new nvidia gpu's that are cumming next month (we are crossing our finger and hope for low prices).

Still i want to know a bit more.

Any date for the release?
Release for the custom cards with the cool and silent fans?

I hope the new 60 card wil perform like the current 1070 or if lucky 1070 ti, the new 70 to perform no less that a gtx 1080 and the new 80 card to perform no less than 2x1070 or 1070 ti, if they relase a 80 ti i hope it would be the first card that can run games in let's say very high in 3840x2160 with no less than 60fps or crysis 3 max setting in 2560x1440 with more than 100fps. Prices like the current gtx 1000 cards

You got a 1060 and can't run that game even on lowest of the settings ? I'm curious , what game.

Did you miss the mining boom bust & then the inventory glut news, that I assume was leaked by Nvidia to justify delaying their new cards' release? I don't think Nvidia will release anything before late Q4 this year, if anything there's a strong possibility that it might even be pushed to Q1 next year! As for AMD

Why they have have relased the 4k 144hz monitors from acer and asus when max you can use is 2x 1080 ti, not enough for those fps hor.............that want's all on ultra, i don't know, cs:go in 4k 144hz?

960 is a 1080 card gtx 989 is atleast a 1440 card and a 1060 6gb is faster than a 970 , even as fast as a stock 980 when you oc the 1060 6gb

Why they release hardware that you can't even push to the max? Because it allows you to go out and get 2x 1080ti (or 1180ti) so you CAN.

Its called business And its silly to fall for it because why on earth would you spend thousands of dollars so you can play CS:GO at 4K144hz. Its a massive turd of a game these days.

Pro tip: keep the resolution below 4K so you can game comfortably at max settings without breaking the bank. Moving images don't benefit a whole lot from extremely high res and early adopting top end resolutions means you're paying the maximum and suffer the most as many games and even the hardware isn't optimized for it.

Might as well ask what the stock price of any particular stock will be next month for the score of the next subway series between Mets and Yankees. Performance at this point is established, the manufacturer leaks are well controlled and mostly a cat and mouse game between competitors. As we saw with the 7xx series, once nVidia was able to determine what the competition's products were capable of, they shelved they put their top tie rcard on the shelf and moved up their 2nd tier design and slapped the x80 moniker on it. The top tier design sat on a shelf till the competition came out with their newest card and then dusted it off and released it a week later.

The price of the top tier GFX cards, when adjusted for inflation, really hasn't changed much in a very long time. Given that consistency, unles soustide forces interven, I expect $700-$725

Performance wise, you can simply look at past generations (1440p)....

Generation to generation, you can at least expect the new gen x60 to be as fast as the last gen's x70, sometimes 2 steps up ... the 1070 blew away the 980 and the 980 Ti /... the 1060 toasted the 980

While there have been several key indicators pointing to a next month release, that wouldn't put me into anticipating in a purchase. I think we may see the reference card's released next month, but only the "1st kid on the block" crowd generally goes there... expect a 4 - 12 week lag before the AIB cards that you actually want to buy are available in quantity. I would expect that we won't see nVidia lag far behind the new 4k HDR panels being available in quantity. The release of those monitors will result in a big demand for the next gen top tier card and nVidia certain;y doesn't want to release a new line to flat sales. In addition,the release of those 4k HDR panels will push the current 165 HZ 1440p Monitors (w/ AU Optronoics panels) into affordability for most folks with priced on the Acer Predator XB271HU already dropping in to the $5xx category.

As well, current market in terms of work has been stagnant, and so has raises, meaning less people having free money to just drop on new computers unless they are the "Forever Alone" type. I want a GTX1070 but even a used one for $450 CAD is way too much for me.

That is not much, that is 292 euros, for that price you can only get a the cheapest new gtx 1060 6gb in europe or one of the good gtx 1060 3gb, a good gtx 1070 (strix,gaming x or some evga ftw ) goes for $621 CAD USED
