The Newegg Fairy brought me 2 Dirt 3 Coupons...

So the newegg gift fairy brought me two Dirt 3 coupons for Steam so is only for the PC. One I intend to use for myself and one I am planning on bestowing upon another lucky reader of these forums! Conditions for receiving the coupon are as follows.

You must have a user ID that joined prior to 1 year ago today.

Two, You must respond to this thread with the reason I should give the extra coupon to you. This could be in the form of a sad story, but I would prefer someone who played Dirt 1, and Dirt 2 and can prove they put in a butt load of time into the games, and thus would get the most use of this game. The person who can do this the best will arguably have the greatest chance of getting the coupon. I am going on the honesty system here, so if you already have the game, please do NOT enter.


Edit; I have gone through alot of posts, and it's been very diffacult to distinguish a winner. I wasn't necesarily looking for the sadest story or anything like that, mainly just wanted it to be used. As this is a PC/Steam based copy. I have making one change to the contest and in turn extending it to Saturday 23rd of July.

I will base my decision who can provide the most evidence while including a time stamp and there name in the shot. Think as if you were trying to sell something on TPU if your trying to quote console usage. Well I already have Dirt 3 but my cousin has been getting ready to buy it soon and he just bought a new laptop, He has been playing one of my Dirt 2 copy's i got it for Xbox and PC i like it so much. I beat the game on the Xbox though and I have 6hours for Dirt 3. He is actually on his way over to test out my Dirt 3 and if I got this for him that would be awesome, but im sure there are many more people out here that deserve it.

Played D1/D2, Grid...etc. The only way I can prove to you I will play the game a lot is the giant 8 ball I have sitting next to me right now should keep me going for the next 24 hours before I bottom out from the white devil.. (j/k, just love the avi!). I have no sad story.

had Dirt 1 on console put 30hrs into Dirt 2, but i didnt have a controller so keyboard controls made the game unbearable, that and the Ken Block douchebaggery made it a terrible game as well

Dirt 3 looks to be awesome as it removes the biggest problem i had with the game and i got a controller, now i want to play it, just hardware upgrades come first before games, so no game buying for me untill i get my 2500k and other assorted parts.

I've never played Dirt or Mud or any other game with such a horrible title.

Hopefully after the third iteration they got it right.

Never been a fan of racing games, really kinda boring. I hope who ever ends up with the game puts more than 5 hours into it before it gets old.

As for me, I was too poor to buy the original Dirt, so I played the snot out of the demo and loved it. I got Dirt 2 with one of my video cards, and weas extremely disappointed that it constantly crashed on me (common issues with sound and quad-core CPU's: all the fixes never worked for me). I was hoping to try Dirt 3 to see if all the issues were gone and enjoy this race again!

I am a Dirt fan, and God rest his soul a Colin McRae fan. I have his first Rally game from 1998, Colin McRae Rally and Colin McRae Rally 2.0 both for my PC and PS. I have (Colin McRae) Dirt 1 and 2 on Steam. I am a true fan of the Man and the game. I have not got Dirt 3 yet, but want to.

I would love to finally own Dirt 3, I almost cried a little when the sale on it was only 33% off.. Basically, I'm poor (college student). I played the crap out of the Dirt demo when it came out, and pretty much got Dirt 2 for free. I've got 24 hours logged in Dirt 2 so far and I'm currently working on winning every track, so far I'm 83/100.

I never tried Dirt 1 and 2 because ppl mostly complained that it contains more casual offroad dirt racing than rally itself. Dirt 3 is supposedly more rally centered as it should be considering its Colin McRae heritage. So i'd like to give a try to the 3rd installment of this series. I'm a big fan of rally games but lately it's a really dry season. I totally miss the Colin McRae 1, 2 and Rally Championship series era. A proper rally games. Dirt 3 is suppose to be a back to the rally roots game again...

hi bpgt64, ever since the first colin mcrae rally came out i hve played them through. also i'm a big fan of the need for speed series and also played through the grid series. i even went down the road and bought a G25 steering wheel to get closer to the real thing... best regards
