That games won't be locked to just DX12 and W10. That if developers use it of course which I hope they do. Basically open source API that runs on both Windows and Linux.

Considering I have no plans to load W10 on any of my machines. Otherwise, I can see myself saving a lot of money in the coming years.

Less hardware for the pretties. Croteam is big on supporting *nix so I'm not surprised they're the first to push out Vulkan support.
