A sunset and some wildlife. The peacock pic was a bit of a challenge. I had to go out before sunrise to set up the shot. There were about 10 to 12 birds total but as soon as the sun hits the tree all the peacocks jump out to go forage. That was the cleanest shot I got.

@the54thvoid is that a local Scottish bird? only birds I ever saw in England were pigeons and wood pigeons... honestly worried me the lack of diversity in birds England had... its different in Scotland?

When I was visiting London, there certainly were a lot of pigeons. We have a lot here in the northeast US too, but I think you just see them a lot because they're fairly indifferent to humans whereas a lot of other birds tend to be more skittish.

More people = more pigeons?

I was hiking some pretty remote areas in England, and wood pigeons were still pretty much all I ever seen. I did see a heron once in Exmoor National Park, that was a epic day. I actually got a (blurry) picture of it, so I won't be sharing it, but its the memory that counts haha

@Space Lynx, That was a Woodpecker, and it's found across Britain. Not seen one in my garden before though (been here 13 years). Birds I see all the time (that are also found across the UK): Sparrows, Starlings, Robins, Dunnock (all daily), Blackbirds, Chaffinchs, Blue Tits, Coal Tits, Great Tits (seasonal), Thrush (rare), Pigeons (daily), Jackdaws/hooded crow (daily), Crows (rarely), and one (pic in thread) a Sparrowhawk. You'll see Herons and most other common aquatic birds in most of the UK's waterways (as long as there's fish). You'll also find hawks near roads and motorways; they appear to like fast food/fresh roadkill. In short, the towns (as long as there's adequate greenery) have attracted many birds. When I go up north with the wife (to be fair, Scotland can be barren), I see far less variety of birds than I do in my garden.

Edit: a walk today.

I might actually like this shot and crop better. This was an earlier shot in the burst, which on the RP is god awful slow. If the engine in my car hadn't just exploded, I'd probably have bought myself an R7.

I took those photos myself. I know it's from a smokers PC. That was tar and ash, and the fans on the CPU and GPU couldn't even spin any more.
