Wife picked me up one of those cheap Palit GTX970's. It was a bit of a shock because we got one for our son, so I wasn't expecting a second one to be dished out!

Both installed and running. Nice upgrades from a HD6870, and HD6950.

In technology terms all I got was a Kindle Fire HDX, not sure if you can call that "cool" but it's just something to help pass away 2 hours of train commuting each day so it will serve it's purpose no doubt!

I use my Kindle all of the time. (not a fire) It's one of the best gifts I ever got.
