Happens pretty much every day if you qualify MSRP as "good deal" and are quick as... I don't know, is Speedy Gonzales racist now? Not sure. :laugh:

The GeForce store's prices are good I just don't know if they ever go in stock and they're all blower style coolers. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/products/10series/geforce-store/

Always check the used market too some people still sell their GPUs at decent prices.

I checked my Microcenter site, seems like they got stock. My question is, are they still doing the lower price thing? I thought before it said "see store for current price" but now I just see 1070 Ti for $600 limit 1 per household.

For less time than I could get something ordered Staples HAD 1060 3gb $269, 6gb $349 1070ti $649.... Still overpriced but better than Newegg prices...
Problem is they were listed at 05:00 est and were sold out by 05:00.18 est...
They still have some cheaper than Newegg 1050 and ti models in stock...
I was trying not to draw attention to Staples online but I'm guessing Ebay sellers and miners are watching everything everywhere.

I have seem on Amazon that later at night, Amazon will have their graphics cards that Amazon ships in stock. If you look around good enough you can find a 1060 6gb. I was able to get these 2 for normal prices. I bought these for my nephew and older sister.
Only look around at night time, maybe after 10pm.
She has to return them due to some issues.

Using a CC, you could buy a higher spec GPU system, take out the GPU, replace with lower end card (1060 - 1080ti gap is what, 500-600) and resell on Amazon as gaming rig.

Guess we'll see what happens to pricing with the next line of cards from Nvidia, Also alot of MC's around here in GA are low stock or out on a majority of cards - last time I was in there (earlier this week) the highest GPU they had in stock was a 1050Ti

Just in case anyone is curious why these keep popping up from GB/MSI apparently they are requiring mobo/gpu combos for sales.

i could never bring myself to even spend $650 on a 1080 (or any card that price, brand regardless)....i can never get over the fact that this......

will be this in a few years

and having that level of perf, a few years sooner just isnt worth it....i guess its a blessing i can go without easily

I like to buy the second tier or third..
HD6950, R9 280 etc...
Right now I'm stuck on Nvidia tier 5...
So... While I wait this BS out (maybe) I have been buying years past greatest cards to see what I missed out on with what I had at the time...$25 at a time... LoL

I was lucky enough to get a deal on an upgrade for one of the kids, and as a "pay it forward" or "good will" type of gesture, I've been selling my extra video cards for what they would sell for, if mining had never existed. That way I can scrape together money to complete the upgrade billed for one of the kids while returning the gesture back into the community

Just to illustrate how quickly GPU's go, last night I got notification that Newegg had MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6gb cards in stock again, going for $369.00. All things considered, that's about as good a deal as you will get for that card now.

2 hours later I figured "what the heck, let me look and see if they still have them." Nope, they didn't. Completely sold out and the next lowest price was up, like $450 or so from the marketplace. Wow.
