i have an 1oz tube of Silicone Heat Sink thermal dielectric compound from Rawn America, and I want to use it on my cpu. Have anyone used this before? is it okay to use it on cpu? i use this stuff @ work on boards and chips for satellites.

Benchmark Scores 2cm mark on bench with a razor blade.
Well it is thermal compund so you know what it is made for.
Don't know much about it but it sounds to me like it is also safe enough to use direct to a die as well without shorting any of the resistors around it as most thermal compounds are safe of these days.

Only issue is it maybe a pain to clean up.

Will be interesting to see how conductive it is in comparison to other pastes.
