After delidding and applying, I am wondering how well Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut performs after a long period of time of use, especially overclocking or CPUs that are hot at stock speed.

Anyone have an answer?

Thank you in advance.

Personally I've had much better longevity from conductonaut liquid metal than Kryonaut where longevity is concerned when delidding. That said, of the pastes I tried, Kryonaut was the best and liquid metals are not exactly super user friendly.

They advertise it as having "long-term durability" and "high long time stability". So...it ought to last a while.
Kryonaut thermal grease was created especially for the extremely demanding applications and the highest expectations of the overclocking community. Kryonaut is also highly recommended as a top product for critical cooling systems in the industrial environment.
  • designed for Overclocking
  • excellent thermal conductivity
  • no curing
  • long-term durability
  • no electrical conductivity!!!

I haven't used the stuff yet. So I can't verify if that's accurate though.

It does last longer than most pastes I have played with. However, if you pass the 85C mark, dryout rapidly accelerates and performance deteriorates a little. Mind you, nearly all pastes do this, and some at lower temps.

I do not know what happened to the reply I made the other day - it simply vanished.

I have decided to use Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut between the CPU die and lid, and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut between the CPU IHS and cooler.

Thank you for your help.
