It's a quality case no doubt but 300 dollars is a tough ask. I imagine most that can afford this will have their own cooling setups but a single 14cm intake is laughable for what they are asking. I wouldn't mind seeing two 200mm fans up front.

I cannot believe this case is $300. There is nothing that this case does that should be more than my current case (Core X9). If I had the choice I would pay 1/2 for the Cooler Master 500P Mesh. They even cases like the View37 that has more and costs less. A big pass for me on this one. I am also interested to see how thermals work with that front panel as well.

I've seen this thing in real life and it's a beast. The materials are really really nice. The only downside is the massive size.

The pictures really do make it seem smaller than it is due to width to height ratio being more or less that of a normal mid tower, but it's a foot wide.

I can see why it's $300, and honestly it's kind of worth it if you're going to keep it for a long time and like huge cases.

The only mod it needs is casters, since I wouldn't want to pick that up fully loaded.

@Darksaber - do you have to mail that beast back or how do they handle shipping for that coffin?

I havent seen the 1000D but it's about the same width - the D is a bit taller and longer. It's that class of case though; where you question whether you should try and carry it out of the store or request delivery.

Well my Core X9 is about 50lbs empty. I could see this one at about 1/2 the weight.

300 bucks for only two 140mm fans, a cripple USB 3.2 connector, and a completely unoriginal internal layout? Yeah, pass.

BTW you can also mount 3.5" drives on the left panels so you don't need the HDD cages:

I like it. I've always had a somewhat soft spot for TT. Never really cared about the Thermafake scandal that much. But this is a way out of my budget.

To name just one incident, one of their reps walked up to CaseLabs booth at a show, said "I wish we made stuff like this", then TT themselves ordered some caselabs products, and a few months later started releasing a whole slew of cases that completely ripped off CaseLabs designs, visual styling etc.

CaseLabs went public with this, including publishing an image of the invoice showing that yes, ThermalTake, immediately after the show in question, had indeed ordered from CaseLabs, to their head offices. ThermalTake responded with a countersuit that CaseLabs didn't have the money to fight, forcing CaseLabs to retract their statement (despite it being obviously true), and continued to blatantly rip off CaseLabs design language for more and more products.

They've also attempted to steal "Pastel" branding out from under Mayhems - https://www.techpowerup.com/252352/thermaltake-and-mayhems-fighting-over-pastel-trademark-in-the-uk

And various other scummy, strongarm tactic things over the years. Thermaltake just flat out are not a nice company to share a space with. They'll steal your ideas and bury you in paperwork if you try to fight them over it.
