These 2 sets, Dual Channel ram? if I used 4 of them, 2 Dual channel sets installed?

how would that work as far as Dual Channel goes? I know it will not be quad, but would it be better/same compared to these:

The Crucial's are faster and have a heatspreader. The heatspreader is pretty important IMO, but I don't know if the benefits are worth the +$56.

Both will perform admirably in dual-channel mode with four dimms populated.

look at latency which lower is better, the speed, does it support OC, quality of heatspreader affect the price and performance too and dual will work on that
