Thinking About Getting a 2nd Monitor.

Hey all

A friend of mine has offered me his old 27" Samsung 1080p monitor.

But this has me thinking that getting the same monitor as i already have instead.which would be more expensive.

have been thinking about a dual monitor setup for a while now. which would be easier for what im doing at the moment.(work, streaming, gaming)

But just wondering the peeps on here who have dual monitor setups have the same or different monitors.

Ideas would be Great.

frankly the for the second one all I would ever need is size over resolution,27" 1080p sounds really good.
though mine is 27" 1440p 144hz and using it for internet browsing and ms office work is just fantastic.

Obviously it's best to have identical monitors, but having an extra monitor is always better than not having one.

that depends what he intends to do with it
you may seek for other qualities in a secondary monitor than what you're looking for in your primary gaming one.

I would trade my secondary 27" 1440p 144hz TN for a 28" 4K VA with 75hz in a heartbeat

and if I had more desk space,I would certainly get a cheapo 1080p and place it vertically alongside the two I have.

Important note:best get one with height adjustment
