Thinking about upgrading PC

Hey, I am thinking finally upgrading my PC from haswell. To make it to the point I'm wanting somewhat smaller build than my current ( Fractal R5 case). I have decided what parts I would need for my use, but I can't figure out if they fit in case.

From my current setup, I would take Graphics card, power supply and SSDs. These are parts I watched.

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 / 3600
Motherboard: Gigabyte B450M DS3H
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury 2x8Gb 3200MHz
Cooler: Scythe Big Shuriken 3
Case: Kolink Satellite

wait a little bit for ZEN3 or Intel 10nm desktop.

Maybe not a B450 motherboard?
Obviously it's a budget board you've picked already, but it's not guaranteed you'll get support for what apparently will be the Ryzen 5000-series on that board.

I thought getting Ryzen 3 3300X at first, they all seem to be out of stock everywhere I looked. Would it be better than Ryzen 5 2600?

Right now my plan to get is :
Ryzen 3 3300X
Kingston 2x8 Gb 3200MHz
Gigabyte B550M DS3H
Scythe Big Shuriken 3
Kolink Citadel Mesh

You'll most likely be able to grab a 3600/3600X for not much more than the 3300X once Zen 3 drops. Considering it's being announced in 8 days I would wait.

No Intel desktop processors on 10nm in the foreseeable future, at least none from the "leaked" roadmaps that I can think of.

Kolink Satellite this collects dust at the front due the active fan.
But while this is not a bad case, this does not isolate noises.
Everything in it, it should belong to Silent PC mindset

I have a customer and friend, having this case for three years up to date.

Even if you are getting a B550 board make sure not to buy the ones which are trash/only slightly better. If you want to upgrade later to an 8/12 core chip the MB choice can come back to bite you hard. Also avoid 2xxx zen+ chips unless they're at a substantial discount because you will need an x570 board ~ if you'd like to upgrade to zen2 or zen3 chips down the line. The x4xx boards will have "BETA" bios to enable support but at this point frankly it makes no sense to get anything older than B550 or x570 even though zen+ chips are, at least for me, a good stopgap.
