Eventually decided to upgrade my very old system and am thinking of this as i"think" for the price it isnt to bad, what do you think?

even that price is stretching my budget to the max so cant go any higher, either way id hope for a decent jump over my current system.
Id be interested to see if ppl think this is ok for some more modern gaming that what i can currently play.

Some stuff i can transfer over to the new machine, an HD,monitor,keyboard,mouse etc , already have a copy of Win 10 on dvd

Gtx 1650 is MEH. It will do 1080p/60 today...barely. id rather see at least a 1660 super for 1080p gaming and longevity.

I know the 1650 isnt great, but its a bit better than my current gtx 770 , the plan is get a system then change gfx card at a later date .

Psu likely cheap unbranded, cheap slow ddr4, entry level gpu, small ssd, no hdd, entry level motherboard, you could build your own for the same cost with much better parts

amd 3400g (4-8)/3600x (6-12)/3700x(8-16) or wait for 5000 series, buy a cheap motherboard b450 or b550. 3200mhz ram 16gb is cheap. a cheap nvme 1tb or ssd, have hdd as storage. deepcool matrexx 30 for a case with a glass side for a low price (can keep dvd drive). Then for a video card either 1660ti, 5600xt, 2060. all this is around 800cad(513.68eur)-900cad(577.89eur) just over 1000cad with my area taxes haha, prices will be different in your area. also id lose the dvd drive for a usb of win 10. i never use dvd's anymore (but thats me). hope that helps a little.

miss conception on cpu being what you need to spend on, at least a 4/8 cpu is enough. for gaming i would spend on gpu for fps/quality, no need for a fancy motherboard either as you wont use all the gadgets the better ones have just make sure it had 4 ram slots for compatibility. black friday for great deals (nov 27) btw

Most new systems don't have an Optical Drive, so a DVD is useless.
You could clone it onto a bootable USB Drive of at least 8GB, or just download W10 directly onto the drive.
My suggestion would be to assemble a PC yourself after watching a few videos and ask questions if unsure about parts etc.

This PC would be about 3x times faster at everything you will play/work. Only 1 suggestion: you could probably DIY with better parts for same price, because you don't know what SSD, mobo and PSU inside, and also random 2400 RAM today as cheap as 3000 HyperX Fury with better timings.

If money is short I'd suggest second-hand market. It's a risk for motherboard, ram, GPU and power supply if I'm being honest but it'll give you the best bang for your buck.

I'd rather go for something like this and build it myself, obviously some things are personal preference so you could just change them out for something else, but it's a much better all round computer imo

i think the intel 9700f systems there are overpriced.
all systems there have a flaw be it only 8gb rams\ small ssd that do not fit 1x game today\ power supply of unknown origin and so on
but i would like others suggest do the build yourself or a friend can help ya?

That would be the best as it’s going to download the latest version of the OS with all the updates. He just need to enter Win10 key when prompt.

mate put one together your self, that pc is too much money and a lot of the parts are poor . your would do better going for a AMD cpu and going for a few second hand bits id buy the psu and case new the look to see what i could get used.

I had a feeling you guys would say don't bother, the thing is I really cannot be bothered with PC building again, not done it in over 10 yrs and don't really fancy it again, id much rather buy something ready-made, but i hadn't considered the second-hand market, so maybe ill look into that for a start.

And this is what forums exists also... to ask and learn about hardware or how you can build it on your own. I never bought anything made. The prices are just too high for what you get. No.. no...

if you want prebuilt why not try nzxt - they do prebuilts to your budget and use quality products
such as asus, gigabyte etc and i think the starting model is $699

About the same price as what that prebuilt was. Anyhow, second hand market maybe pretty good now as people are switching up their PCs. Especially after that parts shortage is over. The prebuilt you shared is not bad though, you would game well on that machine also (the case looks bad for airflow, but maybe it works, no idea). GPU upgrades later on are easy if you power supply has enough capacity for it.
