This eMachines ET1641-02w on-board graphics is slow..

Hi,

I'm working on this computer to sell and I ordered a Bluetooth USB Dongle, a PCI WiFi Adapter, and a PCI-E low profile Graphics card. Now the On-board graphics is GeForce 7050 (610i) is so slow at watching videos on YouTube. I have it set to 256MB in BIOS

I tried W10 also and same deal. I'll try linux

Nothing is your best bet. The onboard sucks, but it supports h.264 decoding according to to NV spec sheet.

True, but that card fits what I'm guessing the budget is for the entire build (cheap, cheap, cheap). It is just an eMachine, afterall.

I just thought it could be a driver issue but i guess not. Well the issue is my front usb ports can't detect my usb wifi adapter and I can't get back there due to I'm in a 4k dollar wheelchair cause I got into a major car accident but I'm here

I did a Google search for eMachines ET16A1 - it does not seem to exist. All Google found was a bunch of links to forums and GPU utility download pages, a lot of them by someone calling himself dorsetknob. Lots of them on TPU. What gives with all the phony posts lately?

A quick google says this probably has a little Celeron E1400 2GHz dual-core in it. A little bit older, but pretty decent. I'm surprised even the onboard graphics struggles with YouTube though. Does it have GPU drivers installed?

I agree youtube shouldn't be a problem.....I would re-install the chipset drivers for the hell of it and reboot and retest YouTube. I've seen this clear up shit like youtube suckyness. Cant hurt none
