congrats! nice find ZenZim!
Depending more on the game calculation intensity then on heat it might throttle a little above or under 2Ghz.

And what specific card? You just have a general name.
fixed. The MSI 2080ti Triple X or Trio X I believe o_O;)

So far in Destiny 2, Doom, and Battlefield it has maintained above 2K most the time between 2050 and 2085. Also after running it for about 2hrs in a burn in test my loop never exceeded 46c. So heat will never be the problem. Rather lack of available power will be my roadblock. Since this is a 300 chip it's limited to a much lower TDP and I have no intentions of modding the resistors to trick it. I'm pretty happy with 100% performance increase form the old sli 980ti's.

How so? I mentioned I still need to manually overclock beyond what Precision did. For instance the RAM is not OC'd by Precision, but I am not sure I will be able to get much as I already have it up to +650Mhz. The core I don't think I can get much more than 2100 on the core. Or do you think differently? I honestly haven't had a lot of time to mess around with overclocking it yet. Or a BIOS flash...which I have done b4 on a couple of cards with ok results. Thing is I don't know that there is a BIOS for the 300 chip that exceeds the reference power limit. IF it was a 300A CHip I know there are many bios that push the power up to like 130'ish.

Get a gpu-z screenshot from the card please and then also attempt upload the BIOS to the gpu-z BIOS collection through the program itself you should receive a prompt that the file is already in the database I just need the link to that file so I can analyze it

Haha. Sorry man...Super Bowl was hosted at my house and that meant tons of cleaning/prep on Saturday and then party on Sunday. Basically life just got in the way of my hobby but I haven't forgotten and for sure want to do this.

They aren't power limited.
Maybe with LN2 cooling, but with normal ppl.
Boost clocks start dropping once the card goes past 54*C.
Different brands/Pcb/power designs, and they all drop boost past 54C.
Even when i did a scan with my LC 2080, limiting factor was temp.
Not even talking about that it beats ANY aircooled 2080S.

My system so far has kept it under 50c and that is with my fans on quiet mode. I think I hit 2080Mhz right now in sustained max boost..
+20 core volt
At 113% power, max for this card
+200Mhz on clock
+650Mhz on Ram

Ram has more room I thin

No there is no bios mods for NV since GF 1000 and Radeon Vega.

There is another way of upping the ante but i need to look at the bios internals from gpu-z screenshot, by the way try to upload the bios to the tpu vga bios collection through gpu-z, if you get prompted the file is already there copy and paste the link here, if its not there get the link after its been uploaded

Samsung memory!! Nice!!
Doesnt matter what it is, ymmv

remove the ov and see what it does.
so far never needed added v to get highest clocks (2080-2100).

@oxrufiioxo
sorry, they usually are good chips, but not always higher on clocks.
the micron i had was doing +900 (stopped testing after that).

I will test that this weekend. I figured an extra 20mv of voltage if the card needed it couldn't hurt. As I understand it the voltage increase is from available power, if needed. Not like it used to be where you add voltage and the core directly goes up that much.

The bios had already been uploaded.
Lets get a look at it then.

Lets start you off with a 260 power target and 300 watt max, your bios current is 250/280.

Its a PNY bios. We will play it safe since you are on a blower card.

If you get a Arctic, Gelid, Rajintek Air cooler, or a water cooler we will then proceed with a higher level bios than what im providing.

Just remember its your choice to flash beyond what im providing, just dont want to cook your card as tdp is for the designed heatsink/fan combos

Here is a Zotac Bios that is the same but max clock is a little higher
Experiment with these 2

You will need this tool to crossflash, just make sure you have igp or a spare gpu for disaster recovery.
