Thread update/edit notifications.

I know we have one for when a thread we're watching gets posted in, but i was wondering if we could have a notification for when a post in a thread we're watching gets edited or updated by the user??

Maybe im just talking out of my arse but it was just a passing thought

You might want to watch your language a bit, too many frequent expressions such as "out of my arse" and "wtf" do not add much value to a post.

I would not mind this feature but I will annoy the hell out of people because I ninja edit all the time.

I'm in favour of it as long as there's an option to turn it off in the preferences.

Also, you might wanna add a poll to this thread to help gauge demand.

I don't think this is possible without custom coding, and I'm doubting the usefulness, because it would potentially generate a lot of notifications

It wouldn't surprise me if it becomes a standard feature in future versions of this forum software. It's quite an obvious feature if you think about it. It would put a significantly bigger load on the email server though, so perhaps that's why it's not implemented.
