Newegg TR 1950X dropped from 999 to 879. Same goes for Amazon. That is over $100 in price cut. Holy cow. Great job AMD for cutting the price. Makes me wonder though whether they are gonna have a 20 core 40 threads TR now.

7960X price is still $1700 something. 7900X is 969 something though. Picking 1950x would be a no brainer.

Well, as long as CCX consists of 4 cores - not even possible.
Both CCXes either have the same number of cores active, or one of them is completely disabled.
Similar rule applies to zeppelin dies in MCM cpus (TR/EPYC).
