Or two... :)

Well everyone, I thought I'd share some builds with you :) My first time with new AMD hardware although not so new now to everyone, but for me I've taken out the 1700X's I bought however long ago ... ( 31st August 2018.... jesus... That's some serious hardware abuse right there!! :( :( Please forgive me...) and I'm putting together two systems for my daughter Isabelle and my my girl friend, Rosie :) My 3 week old daughter Sophia, might be a little young for a build yet, but we'll sort her out later on I'm sure :)

I'm sure I'll be getting things wrong when doing this and some might think I'm completely loopy, but all is done in a days work :D

So, without further ado, here's a pic of the hardware I'm looking at using :)

We can ignore the Gigabyte board and the 850 P2, as those will be used for my bench testing system :)

So we have basics of 16Gb ram for each system, a 275Gb SSD for the moment for the OS drive and for now air cooling :) Both have one of my 'old' Strix 480's I mined on along with a 850W EVGA G+ PSU that my good man @TheMadDutchDude grabbed for me over in the USA and sent over to the UK :)

As it's now gone 2am and I'm feeling a little tired, I'll leave this here and post up some more pictures in the morning...
Here's a few quick teaser shots I did earlier...

Both boards have now had a factory reset, didn't think to try it before I turned it on but... Was interesting, first one booted at 4Ghz I believe :) We'll see how that goes :)
Hope these builds are of some interest for someone :D

Finally!!! :D

They'll be superb rigs. I'll give you a hand with memory config and such when you need it, sir.

Very nice. Your GF and daughter will enjoy these rigs. The SuperNova PSUs are top of the line. Mine is rated at 9.9/10 on jonnyguru.

It certainly took long enough didn't it mate?? I mean, last day of August 2018 I bought the CPUs... Bloody hell lol :)

I sure hope they do @64K, I've an upgrade for them already  I don't like buying things twice (unless boxes are damaged  !!) so I rather spend that bit more before than try to cut corners and have to spend out twice.. I believe my good sir @TheMadDutchDude knows what I'm talking about :)

I was toying with the idea of a small boot drive (M.2 or NVME whichever way you want to call it) and then the SSD 2.5" can be used for games and then the homeserver their storage. I'll wait and see I think :) Just getting them stress tested at the moment, have them on WCG for our team, will leave them running for a few days, make sure everything is alright :)
