This tiny LattePanda computer is really cheap, has an Intel Atom CPU and Windows 10 comes preinstalled and activated on it.

I wouldn't really call it cheap at 109$ for the 2GB/32GB, or 139$ for the more usable 4GB/64GB version.
Once you add a case and a PSU you can almost buy a similarly specked laptop or tablet.

I'd say it is cheap since this is a specialist, custom, low volume product that has higher manufacturing costs, which also come with a full Windows 10 licence. Note that the 4GB/64GB version no longer comes with Windows 10, so the cost must be added on.

Looks crap to me... full ATX plug... i mean it's plain stupid for the price too.. as stated laptop or even netbook would match it :p

That ATX plug though it looks daft AF... Plugging in a huge ATX plug in then the board snaps due to sheer tinyness.. would happen to me :D

Uhmmm ignore what i said i am retarded.. not ATX plug.. watched video.

Still stupid though :p

I subscribed to that guy... he looks like he spends 24/7 behind his computers so that's cool LMAO.

Does not look too cheap in comparison to existing competitors.
It might be the first dev board based on Z8300, but there are already tons of sub-$80 mini-PCs based on previous Atom generation CPUs (including computestick knockoffs), and for $90 you can buy a dual-boot Android/Win10, z8300-based tablet with 2GB RAM, 32GB flash, and a decent 8" FullHD screen. Another $20 gets you the keyboard/dock and makes it a nice netbook. Always wanted to try Chuwi Hi8 after an unexpected departure of my Nexus 7(2013).

i would have thought the same but recently buying a linx 1010 10 inch tablet (with keyboard) and a teclast 7.5 inch tablet (kindow) both powered by baytrail atoms i have changed my mind.. for browsing and video watching they work fine running windows 10..

the "atoms" have their uses.. :)

the "kindow" cost me £60 quid which is remarkable for a dual boot android and windows 10 machine.. its sold as an ebook reader which is what i really bought it for but it comes pre-loaded with windows 10 and android.. the linx 1010 is also a nice little machine running windows 10 with good (all day) battery life.. its around £140 quid with the keyboard..

they are all in one little motherboards cpu units.. the heat sink is a piece of tin foil stuck on the little motherboard.. :)

trog

ps.. the linx 1010 tablet comes with two full size usb ports on the tablet as well as its micro usb port for charging.. none of the others do..
