Looks like Piledriver made some nice improvements on IPC compared to Bulldozer. Seems to have finally caught up to Llano fwiw. :rockout:

cant we just get a test with the Older Platforms too to Include Phenom II and FX

If its true then uh... they are in trouble, and failed again. They took the Zambezi and said that they improved it, yet those improvements can only be seen if you look with attention. You get a base clock which is much higher than the Llano generation, yet in some cases it gets pretty beaten up by it. They are missing FPU perormance in 3ds and the likes, but this suggests that render farms are not worth being based on the Zambezi neither this improved Piledriver core. The graphics.... they have beaten intel by a big margin, this was their only chance to make these things sell. Yet Llano can mean a suffocating death to this, if stocks will be large and prices will drop, as most of the general public does not care about the little increase in performance, and from what it seems A8 Trinity~=A8 Llano, so it all depends on the positioning of the A10 with the more powerful GPU.

If only we could actually have it for sale. Shame AMD couldn't have just launched with Piledriver instead of Bulldozer. Not that it would have helped a lot, just not been as much of an embarrassment.

Speaking of Piledriver, isn't it getting close to the time for AMD's paper launch onslaught in prep for it?
