Top 10 games from the past you want to see redone and why

The entire Wing Commander series + Privateer, Madden, GTA London 1969, The original Duke Nukem, Baldur's Gate. I have yet to try out the new Syndicate and Shadowrun which would also be on my list.

One game I can think of is Blade Of Darkness from 2001. Stellar title in my opinion. Pure PC, pure fun!

10. Need for speed: Porsche unleashed
As many earlier post indicate also, this may be the best driving game ever. I had MS force feedback wheel then and the best games were this and Rally Trophy. The handling just feels right.

8. Bad blood
The graphics may not have been the best, but this brutal "open world" adventure kept me entertained for a long time. Blarg character with bag full of grenades - oh yes.

7. Battle chess
Yes, really. Best the chess game ever. This should be quite easy to implement just focus on brutal and clever animation.

6. Carmageddon
Driving over pedestrians had never been so fun before Carmageddon. The sequels didn't catch that feeling well. Easily one of the funniest car games ever made.

5. Railroad Tycoon
How I miss a good remake of this classic! There were sequel, but every one was worse than the prequel.

4. Leisury Suit Larry
All original Larry adventures should be remade.

3. Diablo 2
Hopefully we see this in Diablo 4.

2. Crudader No Remorse
This game had awesome graphics and gameplay. Oh and the explosions! This might be hard to make look better.

I think this is the best game ever made. It combines all tycoon games in an enjoyable package. Creating of complex high profit railroad networks was the best part. If you remake this, you must not fail.

Yes I've seen it, but not really played. I was thinking about total remakes of the games with new graphics and game engines so they would look and feel like year 2013. Anyways thanks for the tip, I may try OpenTTD someday for a bit of nostalgia

All of the above require (more or less) graphical revamps. Project IGI and Far Cry 2 need AI tweaking and some serious other thoughts, with less movies and more gameplay. Project IGI 2 and Far Cry 3 are not exactly better versions of the earlier versions - they are completely different. I want EXACTLY (well, may be the next "episodes") the same games done better...

The original Descent. Full 360 flight FPS, bring it forward with up to date graphics engine and mutiplayer over the internet. Was great over a Lan back in the day (mid 1990's)

Motocross Madness 2 (from late 1990's). This is a sleeper and I still play it! Want beter physics, tracks and graphics. Some of the best racing gameplay I've ever encountered.

they made age of empires2 and blabbed on about how difficult it was to remake it, but that was bullshit I saw NO difference whatsoever.it was just the same no graphics improvements whatsoever, I think they just made it so it would work on windows 7.flogging a dead horse, dont encourage them.

fade to black I remember was pretty decent, so was vampire the masquerade, another game I was hoping and mean REALLY hoping to be redone and updated was Zone of the Enders, I waited the entire gen and nothing, played armored core as a substitute but I like ZOE's faster gameplay much more.

Have you tried MWO online? Most of the mechs you can earn, and the ones you can't aren't raelly that much better than stock, and you can tweak your own with time. I lived for Mech 1 way back. On the ship, not a lot else to do, and we'd take turns playing on the old PC in the lab

I love it as well (except for that dream sequence level). They should've at least remade it complete with the promised multiplayer mode XD.

There is a cheat code in game where you can change your character.. and it wasn't just a cheap skin / mesh change.. It comes complete with unique character moves for that character model (I love playing as the cyber ninja lol).
