Toshiba's Digital Products Division (DPD), a division of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., today announced the Canvio Desk Desktop External Hard Drive and the Solid State Drive (SSD) PC Upgrade Kit, both available now on Toshiba Direct starting at $119.99 MSRP and $109.99 MSRP, respectively.

Available in 1 TB, 2 TB and 3 TB configurations, Toshiba's Canvio Desk Desktop External Hard Drive provides ample storage space for even the largest digital libraries. The drive is ready to use straight out of the box, offering users a seamless, plug-and-play experience. The Canvio Desk offers high capacity storage in a small and compact design, supporting both horizontal and vertical orientation, allowing users to save precious desk space. Its USB 3.0 interface significantly improves file transfer performance for large media files and dramatically minimizes the wait time for backup. In addition, its fan-less design makes the drive's operations whisper-quiet while effectively keeping it cool.
